Maverick lives to dress up. He sported his lion mane on Xmas day.

Pennsylvania Festivus

Mavie and I drove to PA for Xmas. He just loves playing in the snow.

Athan and Guinness came to visit, too, and we explored the frozen Lake Erie.

Mavie could hardly walk on the ice and kept slipping and sliding, but he loved it! So handsome!


Afterwards, we stopped by Erie Brewing Company for an obligatory craft beer to warm up!


Then on to the farm for some sledding! Guinness didn’t know what to think about us dredging uphill in knee-deep snow.


It sure was cold, we only made it on one go of the sled before heading to the milk house to warm up!


Later on, we dressed up the fur kids in festive head gear. They are good sports.


And much later, met Dad at the Legion. Happy Festivus!

Adventure Race 2016

Jill and I were tandem teammates again this year!

It was chilly so I brought along a fleece blanking to keep my legs warm (and dry!)

We dressed in super hero shirts and socks, and Christmas tree headbands- ‘‘tis the season!


Great race, we won (again!) The competition isn’t tough in the female tandem category but no less, we have a fun time!

Athan’s visit & Jamie’s wedding

Athan came down from Cleveland to be my date to Jamie’s wedding. We went with Brittany and Andy and had a nice time.

We also attended the day-after beach party with her family and Athan really soaked up the warm sunshine!


We also did a little camping trip to Oscar Scherer State Park outside of Nokomis, Florida. Mavie has a ball running on the trails. We did 6 miles, through several different habitats. Great park!
