When I got home the tiles had fallen off the wall… The handyman investigated and realized the wall was rotten. It took a few days and several trips to Home Depot to pick out the tile I liked best. I really like the subway tile, and according to the handyman, lots of homes have this look, for the same reason. Too expensive to re-tile the whole wall!
I even got fancy and upgraded from the old fashion key to an electronic lock. This will be great if I have an AirBnB rental, different tenant, dog sitter, etc.
