Sheba Falkowski

She's been part of the family for three years! That means I've been awake and out of bed before 7 am, to feed this hungry monster, every single day, for three years! Her adoption date was Father's Day 2009, when she came to live with her best friend Maverick :)
Even though she is eight years old, you wouldn't know it when she's playing, which is most of the time. Below, she is enjoying some peanut butter from Maverick's kong. She already licked hers clean, so she was double checking his for left overs. He appears less than amused, but don't let him fool you! He does love her. He just pretends that 75% of things are painful. Dra-Maverick! He truly is the ying to her yang. Love them!

Thunder boomers

Rainy season has begun- and so have daily does of Rescue Remedy for the Mav. He looks big and tough, and his bark sure sounds like he means business... But he's afraid of thunder like none other. From pacing, shaking, incessant panting, and hiding in unusual places, this boy sure is dramatic!

Hedge check

Ahh, the smell of freshly cut grass. Such a sense of satisfaction after a good mow. Are the baby hedges growing? I hope someday they will be a big, lush privacy fence!

Rain rain go away

Maverick put the brakes on going outside this morning... It had rained in the night and the sidewalk was wet! I know it is utterly ridiculous that I promote such behavior, but I dug out his raincoat and he pranced around the house like a super hero in a cape. Out the door he ran, did his business, then turned mopey after his foot furs were damp. It never did rain while this Red Riding Hood cried wolf for the camera. You can't help but love this big baby!

Coo coo for coconut

Miss Sheba discovered a coconut at the dog park today. You can't help but smile watching her sheer delight in tearing it apart. Enjoy!
