Hands Across the Sand

Hands Across the Sand is an international program that started after the BP oil spill in 2010.  Everyone lines up on the beach and links hands to form a chain.  Photos are taken around the world in support of oil free beaches.

I've attended a few times and this year's showing in Naples was more colorful than I was expecting.  Who would think that old rich people would go outside and picket against anything?!

Rooftop Yoga

Yoga Loft is a new studio that just opened in town and they kicked it off with a free class... on the roof of the parking garage!  There were like 300 people there, under the stars.  Really, really cool!

Grapefruit!

I planted two citrus trees in February- and I have some cute little grapefruit already!

Sheba is posing in front of the grapefruit tree for a size reference.

And Mav stands proud next to the key lime tree.
